Aspen Music Festival presents a semi-staged production of The Mother of Us All, directed by Chía Patiño and performed by singers of the Aspen Opera Theater and VocalARTS Program with conductor Scott Terrell.
For one performance only, Chautauqua Opera presents Stein & Thomson's The Mother of Us All, staring Wendy Bryn Harmer as Susan B. Anthony.
Directed by Keturah Stickann with music direction by Steven Osgood.
Wright State University Opera Theatre presents Virgil Thomson's The Mother of Us All for two nights only. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for WSU faculty and staff, all students and senior citizens. $1 (cash only) for WSU Music majors (only available day of performance).
This program was curated to capture the spirit of Acadiana through the eyes of locals paired with Acadiana Songs and Dances by Virgil Thomson. The event will also feature a collage of photos of Acadian people, life, and nature assembled by the Westwater Arts Photography and provided by the community to create a truly unique local story.
